Meet the Cast
Miss Tongue: The Star

Hi there, I am Miss Tongue. It's nice to meet you!
As Miss Tongue, I am very busy... talking, eating, and swallowing.

I get very tired and need to rest!
Why is resting so important? I’m glad you asked!
I need to REST so I can be READY to work again.

For me to rest, I need some help from my friends. The Lips must stay together, and Mr. Nose must breathe ALL by himself.
We call this teamwork Rest and Readyâ„¢.

Now, let me introduce you to my very helpful friends!
Mr. Nose: He's All Business
Hey there! I’m Mr. Nose, and my friends call me the MVP of healthy breathing.

Because I'm the Most Valuable Player in healthy breathing, my job is to learn how to breathe!
When The Lips stay together and Miss Tongue rests, I can breathe ALL by myself. Breathing is my part of Rest and Ready™.
So come along and join us! Soon, you’ll be on your way to speaking more clearly, swallowing the right way, and breathing better. All the things that make Rest and Ready™ possible!

The Lips: The Dynamic Duo

Hello there! We are The Lips.
We are so glad you are here!
Our very important job is to learn how to stay together. When we stay together, Mr. Nose is free to breathe all by himself, and Miss Tongue gets to snuggle up and rest.
By staying together, we work as a team to achieve Rest and Ready™.
If we can stay together, your Lips can do it, too!
Airy the Airway: A Breath of Fresh Air

Hello! I’m Airy the Airway and my job is to keep the air flowing!
Because I'm in charge of making healthy air get to The Lungs, I need warm, moist, clean air from Mr. Nose to do my best work.
When The Lips stay together, Miss Tongue rests and Mr. Nose breathes, I can move air smoothly to help with talking and breathing.
I love my job because it makes the whole body feel better!
The Teeth: Chomping Champions

Hey there! We’re The Teeth, and our job is to chew, chew, chew, chew—ensuring every bite counts for a healthier you!
When you use your back molars to fully chew your food, it does so much more than just make eating fun, it helps your tummy get all the nutrients it needs.
Proper chewing supports strong jaw muscles, aids digestion, and boosts overall growth and well-being.
And guess what? We work best when The Lips stay closed, and Miss Tongue helps keep the food right on our back teeth.

Join us in chewing properly to build a happy, healthy future from the very first bite!
